In this class you will utilize scientific principles and methodologies to understand the interrelationships of the natural world, to identify and analyze environmental problems both natural and human-made. As we delve into both local and global problems, you will work together to design solutions through problem-solving and application. The purpose of this website is to inform you of past student projects with the hope you will be inspired. All curricular assignments, syllabus, pacing guides and review materials can be found on the canvas and google doc calendar.
Welcome! From Mrs. Gradel
Welcome to AP Environmental Science. We will be covering a vast array of topics in this class. Some will be very familiar and others you may be surprised to find in a science class. Hopefully, you will enjoy the content as much as I enjoy teaching it and we will continue to learn how to help solve today's environmental problems together. Mrs. Gradel.
Campus projects
Students have undertaken campus projects including beautification projects, erosion prevention projects, recycling, composting projects, and water quality testing and inventories.
We have collaborated with the City of Broken Arrow and Tulsa Audubon Society on the Monarch Initiative and Northeastern State University's deer run to determine the deer population at Sequoyah State Park.
